1. Serial number
Serial number is a very important symbol in digital products, and all notebook computers will be affixed with serial numbers. If this serial number is different from the serial number on the packaging box and the serial number on the power charging cable, it means that it may have been replaced, so it may be second-hand.
2. Anti-theft lock
Nowadays, newer notebook computers are equipped with anti-theft lock holes. This new machine with lock holes has definitely not been used, so it is better to check whether there are obvious wear marks on the anti-theft lock holes for computers equipped with anti-theft locks. If so, it means that this computer may have been used.
3. Production date
Normally, a computer will be sold within one year, but if the production date of the computer you bought has been more than one year since you bought it, it may be a refurbished machine, but it may also be in stock, but the probability of inventory is not too great.
4. Keyboard
The keyboards of new computers must be very clean, and impurities such as dust are basically hard to see, and all the keys are brand-new. If the keyboard of the computer you bought has more stains or some keys are worn, blurred and dull, it means that this computer has been used, and it has been used for a long time.
5. Gaps
There will be dust or sundries in the gaps on the used laptop. First, carefully check the appearance, especially the position of the cooling vent and the obvious positions such as the touchpad, USB interface, keyboard, screen and rotating shaft. There will be obviously more dust and sundries in the second-hand goods, but the renovation opportunity will be handled cleanly, so the refurbished machine must be disassembled for inspection.
second, the system
if a new computer, especially a computer bought now, is pre-installed with Win1 system, then when you turn it on, there will be a series of setup screens and a lot of messy settings, which all indicate that this computer has not been used. If you enter the system as soon as you turn it on, then this computer is used.
Third, partition
Now, new computers will not be partitioned, because everyone's usage habits are different, so manufacturers will not partition computers, and users will decide the partition situation themselves. If a notebook computer has only one hard disk, then it has only one C disk. If it is a solid-state hard disk plus a mechanical hard disk, it is usually a C disk and a D disk, and a hard disk will only have one partition.
you can use Win+R shortcut key to call the running window, enter "diskmgmt.msc" and run it. You can view it in the disk management window. If you see two partitions of about 1M to 2M, this is normal and can be ignored.
Fourth, hardware loss
If the appearance can be refurbished and the system can be reinstalled, then the hardware loss is not easy to be faked. We can use Master Lu to check the hard disk information of the notebook, and we can check the current hard disk usage time. If the usage times and usage time are short, there is no problem, because computers will be tested in the factory, usually within 3 hours, but if the usage time is too long, it means that they are second-hand or refurbished goods.
similarly, you can also check the battery information to see the battery capacity loss. Generally, the new notebook is less than 5%, which is basically 1%. If the battery capacity loss is large, it can also be considered as a second-hand or refurbished machine.
