Extended information
According to Article 2 of the National List of Hazardous Wastes, solid wastes (including liquid wastes) under any of the following circumstances are included in this list:
(1) those with one or more hazardous characteristics such as corrosiveness, toxicity, flammability, reactivity or infectivity;
(2) it is not excluded that it is hazardous and may have harmful effects on the environment or human health and needs to be managed according to hazardous waste.
according to article 3 of the national hazardous waste list, medical waste belongs to hazardous waste.
referring to article 4 of the national hazardous waste list, the chemicals listed in the hazardous chemicals list belong to hazardous waste after being abandoned.
referring to article 17 of the law of the people's Republic of China on the prevention and control of environmental pollution by solid waste, units and individuals that collect, store, transport, utilize and dispose of solid waste must take measures to prevent scattering, loss, leakage or other environmental pollution; Do not dump, pile up, discard or scatter solid waste without authorization.
it is forbidden for any unit or individual to dump or pile solid wastes in rivers, lakes, canals, canals, reservoirs, beaches and bank slopes below the highest water level, and other places where dumping and piling of wastes are prohibited by laws and regulations.
