Article 1 Trace elements can be detected according to the clinical symptoms of children, but the operation and preservation process of blood collection technology should be standardized, and the instruments and equipment used should be approved by the food and drug supervision department. Non-diagnostic treatment needs, medical institutions at all levels shall not detect trace elements in children.
Article 2 Trace element detection should not be used as a general investigation item such as physical examination, especially for infants under 6 months.
Third local health (health and family planning) administrative departments at all levels should strengthen the supervision and management of various medical institutions at all levels within their respective jurisdictions. Medical institutions that carry out trace element testing for children in violation of regulations shall be dealt with according to laws and regulations.
