Laminar flow purification operating room equipment items management requirements

The operating room work should have a strict workflow, equipment, items relatively fixed. In order to control the number of personnel in and out, should be related to the operation of a variety of items such as dressing bags, instrument packages, rehydration racks, pedals, instrument tables, microscopes and laparoscopes, and other equipment in a fixed operating room, by a person responsible for cleaning, inspection and management. The management system of precision instruments is formulated, instrument files are set up, the responsibility system of users is strict, and maintenance records are set up by specialized personnel. After the operation, the instruments are cleaned by ultrasonic instrument cleaning solution by special person, and the instruments that are not suitable for autoclaving are sterilized by 2% glutaraldehyde immersion, and all the surgical instruments are received and cleaned, inspected and maintained by the supply room.

The clean area of the laminar flow operating room must be at least 1 meter away from each of the four sides of the operating table, non-sterile items and equipment can not be placed in the clean area, anesthesia equipment should be used to separate the sterile sheet and surgical parts. Items that need to be used repeatedly should be soaked and wiped with 1‰ chlorine-containing disinfectant after surgery, and the items used in infected surgery should be treated with peroxyacetic acid when irradiated with ultraviolet light for 1 hour. Special infected surgical items should be disposed of by incineration of waste; surgical instruments with 2% peroxyacetic acid immersion for 30 minutes after autoclaving; walls, floors, push beds, surgical beds with 0.5% peroxyacetic acid wipe, and then ventilated with formaldehyde and potassium permanganate fumigation for 24 hours, 3 consecutive times the culture is sterile before use.
