According to Article 13 of the Law on the Protection of Disabled Persons, the state and society take rehabilitation measures to help disabled persons recover or compensate their functions and enhance their ability to participate in social life.
Article 14 of the Law on the Protection of Disabled Persons stipulates that rehabilitation work should proceed from reality and combine modern rehabilitation technology with traditional rehabilitation technology in China; Taking rehabilitation institutions as the backbone, community rehabilitation as the foundation and families of the disabled as the support; Focusing on practical, easy and beneficial rehabilitation contents, we will carry out research, development and application of new rehabilitation technologies to provide effective rehabilitation services for the disabled.
Article 15 of the Law on the Protection of Disabled Persons: The government and relevant departments set up rehabilitation medicine departments (rooms) in hospitals in a planned way, set up necessary specialized rehabilitation institutions, and carry out rehabilitation medical treatment and training, scientific research, personnel training and technology.
