How to call the data stored in Pacs

The main task of PACS system is to store daily medical images (including images generated by nuclear magnetic, CT, ultrasound, various X-ray machines, various infrared instruments, microscopes and other equipment) in a large number of digital ways through various interfaces (analog, DICOM, network), which can be quickly transferred and used under certain authorization when necessary, and at the same time, some auxiliary diagnostic management functions are added. Due to the variety of medical imaging equipment interfaces, a large amount of data will be generated every day. How to transmit data between various imaging equipment and how to organize and store data is very important for the system.

The real technology of PACS lies in interface technology and storage technology. PACS storage technology has been relatively mature: large-capacity hierarchical storage and pre-extraction mechanism. However, in terms of interface technology, due to the rapid development of interface standards, interface technology has been developing. In terms of interfaces, there are mainly the following types:

1) analog interface

2) Network interface

3) DICOM interface

7.PACS interface technology

1. video interface: divided into standard video and non-standard video (be sure to pay attention to * * * when connecting video signals).

Standard video: There are two main color formats: PAL(768×576) and NTSC(640×480).

PAL and NTSC correspond to two kinds of black and white: CCIR and RS 170.

Non-standard video: corresponding to CT, MRI is mainly 5 12×5 12.

2. Network interface:

Some companies don't have the strength to develop DICOM interface, but they have network cards, which can access files through network protocols (such as FTP) and get images through decoding.

3.DICOM interface:

The international standard interface usually refers to Ethernet based on TCP/IP protocol. DICOM service can be accessed through DICOM interface. DICOM services are various, including storage services, query/feedback services and film printing services.

4. Laser camera interface:

Generally speaking, laser cameras have two interfaces, 3M952 protocol and DICOM protocol. 3M952 mainly takes pictures through the cooperation of serial port (command port) and parallel port (data port). DICOM printing realizes printing by accessing DICOM printing service.
