Business School was established in 1981, is officially by the French Ministry of Labor (CNCP) awarded undergraduate, master's degree issued by the qualification, and in the French Ministry of Education in Paris school district (RECTORAT) officially registered higher education institutions. DE L'ACADEMIE DE PARIS is officially registered as a higher education institution.

The school adopts an elite education model, with about 700 students enrolled, 95% of whom are French students and 5% foreign students. It has obtained the national Visa (Visé) accreditation, which is the most authoritative accreditation in the French education sector, and is subject to very strict audits of its financial situation and teaching quality.

It is also a fully registered member of the European FEDF University Consortium, the American ACBSP University Business School, the IACBE International Association of Colleges of Business Education, the ECBE European Business Schools Consortium, the AACSB International Accreditation of Elite Schools of Business (less than 10% of the world's business schools have achieved this accreditation), and the European Foundation for the Development of Quality (EFMD).

Authority: WIBS issues diplomas regulated by the French Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Economy. 2003 saw the signing of the Mutual Recognition of Diplomas Agreement between China and France, under which all French nationally recognized qualifications are also accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
