2. Can a car maker make a mask?

On Feb. 7, a financial media outlet revealed that a BYD subsidiary in Shantou had quietly changed its scope of business: adding disinfectant solution.
Just as we were still speculating about what BYD was up to, early on Feb. 8, the following picture began to spread among our fan base:
This was apparently a case of changing the scope of business just one day, and then immediately announcing that it was going to build masks and disinfectants the next day.
