Over the past year, under the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, the city's scientific and technological work has vigorously implemented the spirit of national, provincial and city-wide scientific and technological conferences, closely adhered to the theme of serving economic development, and made new contributions and achieved gratifying results around enhancing the ability of independent innovation. The Municipal Science and Technology Bureau was rated as the advanced unit of "Spark Enriching the People" in China, the advanced organization collective of manufacturing informatization in the whole province, and the advanced unit of government informatization in the science and technology management system in the whole province. City Productivity Promotion Center was recognized as a national productivity promotion demonstration center. The comprehensive strength index of science and technology in our city has increased by two places compared with last year, ranking second among the cities and states in the province.

Through the development of new products, our city has developed from scratch in the fields of logistics and transportation equipment, ultrasound equipment, laser processing equipment, power control system, consumer electronic products, software and so on, enriching the types of high-tech products in our city and forming a number of new economic growth points. Third, we have conquered a number of new technologies for energy conservation and environmental protection, and promoted the sustainable development of enterprises. The 2 million tons of environmentally friendly high-performance cement developed by Huaxin Company, the content of industrial waste has exceeded 50%, the annual industrial solid waste has been reduced by 6.5438 million tons, the ton cost has been reduced by 20%, and the profit and tax rate of output value has reached 20%. Xinghua Company developed a complete set of technology for comprehensive utilization of citric acid waste sugar water to produce clean energy and organic fertilizer, with an annual new output value of140,000 yuan and a net profit of100,000 yuan; The treatment and comprehensive utilization technology of strip pickling waste liquid developed by Huayi Cold Rolling Company has realized zero discharge of pickling waste liquid, with the recovery rate of hydrochloric acid reaching 98%, and the technology has reached the domestic advanced level. 3. High-tech industries developed steadily and the industrial structure was obviously optimized. First, the development speed has steadily increased and the economic benefits have risen sharply. Third, high-end products are constantly emerging. The extreme environmental protection steel developed by Xinyegang has further developed the product structure of our special steel in the high-end direction. The "6000-ton heavy-duty CNC bending machine complete equipment" developed by Forging Company has become the largest CNC bending machine complete equipment in the world, and its comprehensive technical level has reached the world advanced level. Fourth, the development of high-tech development zones is among the best. At the end of last year, the first city-wide intellectual property conference was held. The Municipal Intellectual Property Office exchanged experiences with the departments of industry and commerce, culture and information industry, and promoted the pilot work of intellectual property rights. The work pattern of "big" intellectual property rights has begun to take shape. The selection and commendation activities of "Top Ten Patents", "Top Ten Patent Applicants" and "Excellent Patent Inventors" were carried out, which greatly encouraged the inventors' enthusiasm for innovation.
