Early in 1988, Dr. Liu Jiren, a professor at Northeastern Polytechnic Institute Professor Dr. Liu Jiren and two young teachers, with 30,000 yuan of research funds, three 286 computers, founded the "Computer Network Engineering Research Laboratory of the Department of Computer Science".
1989
Based on the research lab, Neusoft started business cooperation with Japan ALPINE Co., Ltd. and tried to export technology and outsource software development (software outsourcing), and Japan ALPINE Co., Ltd. became Neusoft's first international customer.

The Northeast Institute of Technology (NIT) Computer Software Research and Development Center was established under the slogan of "Bridging Software Research and Application".

"Northeastern Polytechnic Institute of Open Software (OPENSOFT) System Development Company" was established; and Japan ALPINE Co., Ltd. and the establishment of a joint venture "Shenyang Donggong Alpine Software Research Institute (Ltd.) ".

Neusoft implemented the brand integration strategy and unified the "Neusoft/Neusoft" brand; "Neusoft Alpine" was renamed "Neusoft Corporation"; Neusoft Japan was established. "Neusoft Japan was established; Neusoft became the first software company in China to pass the CMM Level 3 assessment.

Neusoft Institute of Information Nanhai College and Chengdu College were put into construction and operation successively; Neusoft passed the CMM Level 5 assessment and became the first software enterprise in China to obtain CMM5 assessment.

Neusoft Group completed its strategic reorganization; Neusoft Software Park Industrial Development Co., Ltd. was established; Neusoft's magnetic *** vibration products passed CE certification.

Neusoft Philips Medical Device Systems Co., Ltd. was established; Neusoft passed the CMMI5 assessment and became the first software company in China to obtain CMMI5 level assessment; Neusoft School of Information of Northeastern University, an independent college of Northeastern University, was established; Philips invested in Neusoft Group and became a strategic investor of Neusoft Group. In 2006
SAP and Intel invested in Neusoft and became strategic investors. "Neusoft Information Technology Services Co., Ltd. was established and started to enter the BPO business.
2007
Neusoft was listed in the "Global IT Services 100" for the fourth time and topped the "Asia Emerging Outsourcing Top 10"; it was also ranked in the "2007 Global Outsourcing 100" published by IAOP. In the list of "2007 Global Outsourcing 100" published by IAOP, Neusoft entered the top 25 for the first time, and became the only Chinese company among the world's top 25 outsourcing providers; Neusoft's software talent training base was laid in Neusoft Software Park in Shenyang; and Neusoft was honored as one of China's Top 10 Employers in 2006 by CCTV. Neusoft's plan to merge Neusoft Corporation with Neusoft in a share swap was conditionally approved by the Restructuring Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), which means that Neusoft's plan to go public as a whole has been approved by the CSRC and has begun to be implemented.

Neusoft completed its overall listing plan and announced its new development strategy, aiming to become a global provider of IT solutions and services; Neusoft became the first Chinese software company to pass the PCMM ML3 assessment; Neusoft's software parks in Hekou, Dalian, and Nanjing R&D bases were inaugurated and put into operation
