"The Light of Civilization Shining on Lianyun - Fine Historical Artifacts Display" reproduces the excellence and brilliance of the ancient culture of Lianyungang area from different sides. The display is divided into: the flood Yuzhou, East Barbarians civilization, Qin and Han style, Tang and Song style, Ming and Qing charm of five major parts. Yan Han is a famous contemporary printmaking artist of Lianyungang nationality, and is one of the famous printmakers who have made "outstanding contributions" to the emerging art of woodcutting in contemporary China. Yan Han has been committed to contributing to his hometown over the years, has donated more than 300 of his works of art to our museum, Yan Han Art Museum that is built for the exhibition of some of the works donated by Yan Han Museum. The exhibition displays part of the prints, paintings, calligraphy works and Yan Han part of the life of Yan Han fighting a chance to donate to the city museum.

July 7, 2002, Lianyungang City, southwest suburb of about 7 kilometers of Haizhou District, Double Dragon Village, Garden Road, infrastructure sites, surprised an ancient tomb. The tomb era for the late Western Han Dynasty, unearthed more than 80 pieces of artifacts. Especially shocking to the world is that the tomb also unearthed a basically well-preserved Han Dynasty female wet corpse. Unearthed with the ancient body of the tortoise button copper seal, the seal clearly indicates that the owner of the tomb for the "Ling's Huiping".

In order to protect and utilize a better combination, in 2008, the museum created the "ancient mystery - Ling Huiping" special display. Stele Forest Landscape Plaza covers an area of about 3,000 square meters, is located in the city museum east side of the square. The landscape art area makes full use of the stone cultural relics and components collected by the museum to embellish the area, combined with the landscape art, and integrated into the landscape art area centered on the circular square, which is the height and viewing point of the whole square, with stone wengzhongs, plaifangs, bell pavilions, stone beams, door queues, etc. Wandering in the area, one will feel the ancient feeling brought by the green bricks and black tiles.
