Issue an elevator license to the Special Equipment Department of the local Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, and apply according to the following conditions:
1, at least 18 years old, and not exceeding the national statutory retirement age;
2. Have a junior high school education or above;
3, by the community or medical institutions at or above the county level, there is no disease or physical defect that hinders the corresponding special operations;
4. Have the necessary safety technical knowledge and skills;
5. Other conditions specified in the corresponding special operations.
To sum up, elevator operation belongs to special operation, and elevator is special equipment; Therefore, the issuing department is the Market Supervision Administration! Then, according to the regulations of the market supervision and management department, the elevator license should be reviewed every four years after the issuance time, and it must be reviewed before it can be used again!

The certificate of special equipment operators shall be reviewed every 4 years. The holder shall apply to the license issuing department for review 3 months before the expiration of the review period. Those who pass the second interview shall be signed and sealed by the issuing department on the original certificate. For those who have no bad records such as violation of laws and regulations within 2 years and attend safety training on time, the review period shall be extended in accordance with the provisions of relevant safety technical specifications.
Those who fail the second interview should take the exam again. If the applicant fails to apply for re-examination or fails to pass the examination within the time limit, his "Certificate of Special Equipment Operators" shall be cancelled.
Operators of special equipment operating across regions may apply to the license issuing department at the place where the operation is located for review.
