Radiometer's Company Milestones

1935

Two members of the Danish royal family founded Radiometer Denmark in Copenhagen and started to work mainly on radio measurements, which is where Radiometer Denmark came from

1952

There was an outbreak of polio in Europe, and due to the lack of diagnosis and treatment many people died

1952

In the process of rescuing patients, Professor Ibsen from the University of Copenhagen tried to use artificial mechanical ventilation to improve breathing. p>During the treatment, Prof. Ibsen from the University of Copenhagen tried to improve the patient's breathing by using artificial mechanical ventilation. At the same time, Ibsen and Prof. Astrup from the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Copenhagen found that blood gases were very useful in assessing the patient's status. Radiometer Denmark provided full technical support and assistance

1954

Since then, Radiometer Denmark has been leading the field of critical care testing for 60 years. It was 1954 when the world's first commercially available blood gas analyzer, the Astrup E5010, was introduced

1959

The Astrup Trolley

which simultaneously measured pH, pO2, pCO2

1973

The world's first automated blood gas analyzer, ABL1, which became synonymous with Radiometer in Denmark for many years.

1976

The first generation of percutaneous monitors, the TCM1, was based on Radiometer's proprietary blood gas electrode technology combined with the emerging technology of transcutaneous testing

1989

The introduction of the very classic ABL500 series, where more critical parameters were integrated into one instrument

1994

The introduction of the miniaturized ABL1, which was the world's first automated blood gas analyzer, was followed by the introduction of the ABL1, which became the first automated blood gas analyzer. In the same year, in response to the emerging demand for POCT bedside testing, the compact cardbus blood gas analyzer ABL77 was introduced

2003

A new generation of percutaneous tcpO2/tcpCO2 monitoring, TCM4, was introduced, which combined with traditional arterial blood gas analysis, provides early warning of microcirculatory disorders and comprehensive assessment of human ventilation

2005

Multichannel Percutaneous tcpO2 Monitoring TCM400 for localized tissue blood supply assessment

2008

In response to new challenges and demands, and in combination with new network technology, Radiometer launched the ABL800 series in 2007. In addition to increasing the actual measurement parameters to 19, more combined with safePICO blood collection needle, to achieve a truly fully automatic 1st Automatic

2008

At the same time, miniaturization of the instrument is also constantly evolving, the new ABL80 series has been launched after 08 years of the four versions, to achieve a small machine on the blood gas, blood glucose, blood oxygen, The new ABL90Flex card-type blood gas test requires only 65 microliters of blood to obtain 17 actual results in 35 seconds, and has a built-in automatic mixing device, which is easy to use and eliminates the trouble of errors

2010

In addition to the traditional gold-standard immunoassay test, the AQFlex series has been launched, which is the first of its kind in China. The AQT90 is based on the traditional gold standard immunoassay test, and the entire process from mixing and feeding to obtaining the results is fully closed and automated. The AQT90 is a fully automated process from mixing and feeding to results. It helps healthcare professionals to cope with the demands of rapid, convenient, safe, flexible and reliable POCT testing

Future, Radiometer Denmark will assume full responsibility and mission in the field of critical care testing
