10, the college resources paid use of policy

Three, there are problems, shortcomings and future vision

1. The serious shortage of resources, limiting the further development of the Institute

From the work of 2006, we have learned that the most serious bottleneck limiting the rapid development of the Institute is the shortage of resources. With the accelerated pace of talent introduction and the gradual growth of young teachers, the problem of resource constraints has become increasingly serious. The limited laboratory area of the college can not meet the requirements of further development of the discipline, which makes the research conditions of young researchers poor, and some introduced talents and new young researchers do not have a laboratory. In addition, there is a big gap between the university's hardware investment in our institute and that of some related institutions in China, and there is no support and inclination for our institute in terms of funds and policies. This situation not only makes it very difficult for us to introduce talents, but also fails to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of young researchers in the institute, which seriously hinders the development of the institute. At the same time, we hope that the university will increase the support to our institute in the future, fully mobilize the potential of the teachers in the institute, and strive to achieve better results on the basis of 85 SCI and EI articles in 2006.

2, senior title positions are obviously insufficient, a serious constraint on the development of the discipline

With the rejuvenation of the teaching force, with the introduction of talent and the growth of young teachers, many of the young teachers in our hospital already have the title of Professor of the academic ability and level, our SCI papers and scientific research, but by the limitations of the senior title positions, some of the outstanding young teachers and researchers can not be promoted to their scientific research on time and in a timely manner. Promoted to the position corresponding to its scientific research ability in a timely manner, this situation not only seriously affects the cultivation of academic talent and academic echelon construction, restricting the development of the discipline, but also not conducive to the College to build a harmonious humanities and scientific research environment.

3, the postgraduate index is too small, limiting the progress of scientific research

In order to complete these projects at a high level, some teachers have to spend a high price to borrow graduate students from other schools to complete the project, this situation greatly restricts the progress of our scientific research, I hope that the Graduate School in the future work of our policy support and tilt.

4. There are some gaps between some research fields and the brother units

We have a complete range of disciplines, covering most of the fields of food research, including livestock and aquatic products processing theory and technology, fruit and vegetable products processing, storage, preservation theory and technology, grain and oil food processing theory and technology, etc., but also in many areas of research in the country's food industry leading level, such as food biotechnology, fruit and vegetable storage theory and technology, food and vegetable processing theory and technology, food and oil food processing theory and technology. 5. Horizontal research efforts should be strengthened

6, integration within the discipline needs to be strengthened urgently, the allocation of resources is unreasonable

Discipline development needs a close-knit team. At present, the discipline still exists within the typical "individual households" and "small teams", although each has a strong fighting force, but did not form a strong core of the research team, can not effectively play the "group" combat ability, the synergy effect is not obvious, weakening the level of research, it is the imperfections in the internal layout of the discipline, resulting in the duplication of resources and waste of allocation.
