Proportional operation

The proportional burner is used where the thermal power has to be constantly varied due to the special requirements of a boiler with frequently fluctuating loads, and this operation is realized through the assembly of a DSPG (progressive two-stage) with an automatic thermo-electric power regulator (RWF40), which controls the regulation servomotor to achieve an increase or decrease of the thermal power by means of a sensor (temperature or pressure) and a field matching device (contained in the RWF32 regulator). The RWF40 regulator is of the PID (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) type. The adjustment setpoint is adjusted by moving the RWF40 adjustment pointer mounted on the burner. Naturally, the thermal power level can only be varied within the "maximum" and "minimum" limits of the burner.

Proportional adjustment is achieved by using a servo motor that allows the air/fuel ratio to be taught at any time over the entire proportional adjustment range.

Precautions

7.
