Is there an ICU on high speed rail

There is no intensive care unit on this mode of transportation.

The limited space of high-speed rail carriages cannot accommodate a large number of medical equipment and devices, while intensive care units need enough space to place various life-supporting equipment and instruments. Therefore, it is not possible to set up a full-fledged intensive care unit on the high-speed train.

The medical devices and equipment on the high-speed rail are mainly for common and sudden illnesses, such as cold medicine and first aid kits. These equipments and devices cannot meet the needs of an intensive care unit. For seriously ill patients, more specialized medical equipments and more complete medical facilities are needed, which are not available on the high-speed rail.
