Liu Panshui is located in the western part of Guizhou Province, on the slopes of the first and second level plateaus of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, straddling latitudes 25°19'44 "N to 26°55'33 "N, and longitudes 104°18'20 "E to 105°42'50 "E, and is in the center of Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, and is about 300-500 kilometers away from the five provincial capital cities of Kunming, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guiyang and Nanning.
