The water-cooled radiator transfers the heat of the heating source to the water-cooled liquid through the water-cooled plate, and the water-cooled liquid circulates to the water-cooled row through the water pump and then to the fan again, so that the water-cooled refrigeration system has good heat load capacity, and the direct benefit is that the working temperature curve of the heating source is very gentle.
Water cooling system generally consists of the following parts:
Heat exchanger, circulation system, water tank, water pump and water, and heat dissipation structure can be added as required. Due to the physical properties of water, the thermal conductivity of water is not better than that of metal, but flowing water has excellent thermal conductivity, that is to say, the heat dissipation performance of water-cooled radiator is directly proportional to the flow rate of water-cooled liquid (water or other liquid) in it, and the flow rate of water-cooled liquid is related to the pump power of refrigeration system. Moreover, the large heat capacity of water makes the water-cooled refrigeration system have a good heat load capacity, which is five times that of the air-cooled system. The direct benefit is that the working temperature curve of the heat source is very good.
For example, when running a program with a heavy workload, the system using air-cooled radiator will have a temperature spike in a short time, and it may also exceed the warning temperature, while the water-cooled radiator system has a much smaller thermal fluctuation because of its large heat capacity.
