There are three categories of integrated ward
The access to the ward is very strict, with 24-hour security guards at the door, making it difficult for some people to enter. When you enter the ward, the first thing that catches your eye is the crescent-shaped row of leather sofas, which is a rest area for the family members of the mother to wait.
Wearing white coats, medical staff in the ward to check the final aspects of each delivery room, 22 integrated wards are divided into three categories, namely, A, B, C suite, the reporter followed the medical staff into these three suites to visit.
The biggest difference between the three suites is the space, C suite about 30 square meters, A suite about 60 square meters. The basic facilities in the suites are more or less the same, with maternity beds, baby cribs, baby touch tables, multi-functional sofas for family members to rest, flush toilets with temperature control, shower rooms and so on.
It's worth mentioning the labor bed, a seemingly plain bed valued at 165,000 yuan because of its integration of birth functions. The more spacious B and C suites also house infant radiation beds for treating conditions such as jaundice in newborns.
"In fact, we have many other medical equipment, such as lactation and therapeutic instruments for preventing venous thrombosis, which are not put into the delivery room because of space constraints and are put back into use as needed after a woman gives birth." Dr. Wang said that considering the actual situation of the hospital, we will try our best to improve the comfort of women hospitalized in labor and delivery as far as the conditions allow.
It is understood that the total cost of staying in an integrated ward is roughly 20,000 to 30,000 yuan if the delivery process goes smoothly.
