What is voltage flicker?

Voltage flicker is a sudden fluctuation of power system voltage. Exceeding the range of normal static rated voltage.

The above situation is due to the sudden failure of the power system, which occurred within the time when the relay protection has not removed the fault.

For example, when the overhead line is struck by lightning, the lightning arrester acts instantly, the cable is damaged during construction, the short circuit trips instantly, and the line automatically recloses after the trip is successful or the reclosing fails.
