Can medical sewage be reused?

From the periodical website, I found that I only used this article. From the article, I can see that there is state-owned assets recycling, and Xie Sitao's "Reflection on Hospital Sewage Prevention"; Wang Guanjun;

Architectural design and research institute of the general logistics department of the author's unit; Architectural Design and Research Institute of General Logistics Department, Beijing; Water supply and drainage, water &; Wastewater engineering:

Hospital sewage reuse should be treated with scientific analysis and caution

Hospital sewage reuse is a sensitive issue. The original association standard "Code for Design of Reclaimed Water in Buildings" did not list the sewage from general hospitals as the source of reclaimed water, but was in the national standard "Code for Design of Reclaimed Water in Buildings".

In No.1 Middle School, the sewage from general hospitals has been listed as one of the sources of reclaimed water. First, this change comes from engineering examples and objective needs.

According to the survey, general hospitals consume a lot of water, and the discharged sewage is diluted, and the concentration of organic matter in the sewage is lower than that of ordinary domestic sewage. In fact, there have been several examples of sewage reuse in general hospitals in China, but the prevalence of infectious diseases may bring some new doubts to people. According to the reference materials, the World Health Organization has strict regulations on the reuse of hospital sewage for agriculture and aquaculture. After treatment, the parasite eggs in the sewage are less than 1/L, and the fecal coliforms are less than 1 0,000/100 ml. These sewage can be used for agricultural irrigation. If the parasite eggs in the sludge are less than 1/kg, the fecal coliform group is less than 65438. Up to now, the World Health Organization has no water quality standard for hospital sewage reuse.

Anyway, the sewage in general hospitals does contain many germs. As the source of reclaimed water, safety factors should be put in the first place and treated with caution. If it is really necessary to treat and reuse hospital sewage, the author thinks that hospitals and general hospitals should have certain restrictions on infectious diseases and tuberculosis-related diseases.

Sewage and radioactive waste water in the area should be treated separately and discharged after reaching the standard, and shall not be used as renewable water source.
