Open AutoCAD, enter the command OPTIONS, in the options inside you can see whether it has been hardware acceleration.
AutoCAD runs as a CPU driver, the graphics card just improves the graphics display. Without a graphics card, the graphics are not perfect. For example, an ellipse, without a graphics card, may be displayed as a polygon. So the graphics card is just an aid, not to be understood as driving cad.
Since AutoCAD is a single-threaded program, if the CPU is a 4-core one, then cad can only use up to 1/4 of the performance.
The higher the AutoCAD version, the better the computer performance is required. If the computer performance is not good, the computer will get stuck. According to the current computer configuration, in general, the installation of AutoCAD 2008 version will not be stuck.
