The positions of the leads of the ECG monitor are relative, which means it doesn’t matter if the positions are moved relative to each other. For example, if the RA is attached to the right arm, it will still produce an ECG. The best effect is achieved if it is applied at the following locations:
White line (RA): the intersection of the right midclavicular line and the second intercostal space;
Black line (LA): The intersection of the left midclavicular line and the second intercostal space;
Red line (LL): left lower abdomen;
Green line (RL): right lower abdomen;
Brown Line (C): C1 4th intercostal space on the right edge of the sternum

Precautions for using the ECG monitor:
1. Timely observation and treatment For abnormal monitoring values, pay special attention to the reasons why the electrocardiogram suddenly changes or becomes a straight line, and deal with it in time.
2. SP02. The blood pressure cuff is placed in the correct position and the tightness is appropriate (1 or 2 fingers can fit between the cuff and the patient's arm).
3. Pay attention to eliminating factors that may affect monitoring, such as connection parts, body position, limb temperature, accidental lead detachment, etc.
4. Replace the electrode pads every day or every other day to keep the use environment clean.
5. The electrode pads need to be in good contact with the skin and in the correct position. Generally, lead II is selected.
6. Correctly set the monitoring range of each parameter according to the patient's condition and doctor's instructions.
How to use the ECG monitor:
1. Clean it with clean water and dry it with paper or let it dry naturally.
2. The skin should be kept clean and dry. Use abrasive paper to place the electrode patch at the desired location (under the finger of the right clavicle, at the intersection of the left fifth rib and the left anterior axillary line, between the two nipples). Wipe clean the cuticle of the skin.
3. Take out the lead wires, buckle the three electrode lead wires into the ECG electrode patch, place the red electrode under the right clavicle; place the yellow electrode in the two nipples point; place the black electrode at the intersection of the left fifth rib and the left anterior axillary line.
4. Correctly insert the plug at the other end of the ECG lead wire into the monitoring device in the direction of the arrow. ECG monitoring can be performed by turning on the monitoring device.
5. Take out the electrode patch and wipe the area with the electrode patch sticker.
