Drug composition

This product contains the main ingredient of vitamin C 1 gram per tablet. Excipients are Apo carotene aldehyde, orange flavor, orange flavor, vitamin B2, sodium saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, sucrose, tartaric acid fine crystals.

Pharmacological effects

Indications

Use and dosage

Use this product in a glass of cold or hot water, dissolved into a cup of fresh sweet orange flavor drink. Adults take one tablet daily, children take half a tablet daily.

Precautions

1. It is not advisable to overdose on this product for a long period of time, otherwise, sudden discontinuation of the drug may result in symptoms of scurvy.

2. This product can pass through the placenta and be secreted into breast milk. If pregnant women take more than the recommended dose, it may induce neonatal scurvy.

3. It should be used with caution in the following conditions:

(1) cysteinuria

(2) gout

(3) hyperoxaluria

(4) oxalate deposition

(5) urate renal stones

(6) glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency

(7) Hemophilia

(8) iron granulocytic anemia or thalassemia

(9) sickle cell anemia.

Drug interactions

1. Combined with heparin or warfarin, it can cause shortening of coagulation time;

2. It can destroy vitamin B12 in food, and complex with copper and zinc ions in food to hinder its absorption, thus producing vitamin B12 or copper and zinc deficiency;

3. Combined with barbiturates or pemetrynone, it can promote the excretion of vitamin C to increase;

4. It can also be used as an antioxidant. Vitamin C excretion increases;

4. Salicylates can increase the excretion of vitamin C;

5. Combination with sulfonamides is not recommended;

6. Prolonged or excessive use of vitamin C can interfere with the action of disulfiram (withdrawal of sulfur) on ethanol;

Adverse reactions

No adverse reactions have been observed with the recommended dose. If overdosed for a long period of time, it is prone to cause the following adverse reactions. 2-3 grams a day for a long period of time can cause scurvy after stopping the drug.

2. Long-term overdose can occasionally cause urate, cysteine or oxalate stones. 3. An overdose (more than 1 gram a day) may cause reactions such as diarrhea, red and shiny skin, headache, frequent urination, nausea and vomiting, and stomach upset (e.g., stomach cramps, acid reflux).
