What are the standards for masks
There are three common standards for civilian masks in China: medical surgical masks, YY0469-2011; industrial dust masks, GB2626-2006/2019; and medical protective masks, GB19083-2010.
In addition, each country and regions also promulgate their own mask standards. For example, the standards set by the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), common models of N95, N99 masks, FFP1, FFP2, FFP3 masks in line with the EU standards.
