What is the process of wire harness processing?

1. wire cutting

Use automatic thread cutting equipment to cut the thread according to the size required by the process, arrange the cut thread neatly (50 pieces/bundle) in the designated position, and affix the logo.

Remove skin

Install the corresponding blade according to the wire specifications, adjust the peeling, wire clamping and wire cutting strokes according to the process indicators, adjust the size adjustment plate according to the peeling length, put the wire in the middle of the blade, hold the thread end against the size adjustment plate, and step on the pedal to peel.

Brush wire

Turn on the power supply, and the copper brush rotates clockwise. According to the SOP graphic method, the oblique cladding exposed at both ends is separated from the core wire, and the separated oblique cladding is twisted tightly.

Winding wire

Twist pliers are complete, and the rotating force is even. Clip all the brushed copper wires into the twist clamp for twisting (copper wires should be sandwiched in the middle and lower parts).

Obtain tin

Adjust the tin furnace (300 20℃) according to the temperature given by SOP, arrange the wires, separate and align the conductors of each core wire, and dip the conductors of the core wire with flux. When dipping tin, the core wire should be sent to the tin furnace vertically (the size should meet the requirements of SOP), and the core wire should be taken out immediately after it is in place.

6. Terminal crimping

Press the cut wires to the terminals with a small crimping machine. Sometimes a terminal can crimp multiple wires.

7. Sub-packaging

The crimped wires are repackaged according to the requirements of repackaging process, that is, the terminals are inserted into the sheath.

put together

Assemble the sub-assembly on the drawing board according to the loop direction (the adhesive tape or drawstring is tied into a bundle, which is the wiring harness).

9. Electrical testing

Use standard wire tester to test the performance of wire such as voltage resistance, impedance and short circuit.

10. Visual inspection

Visually check whether some exterior parts meet the standards and whether there are any missing accessories.

Arrange the wires neatly, and pack (500 wires/box) 50 wires/bundle, 5 wires/bag and 2 bags/box as shown in the figure; After the box is full, seal the mouth of the box with a sealing machine and label it.
