(a) Medical robotics
The application of robotics technology in the medical field is not uncommon, such as intelligent prosthetics, exoskeletons, and assistive devices and other technologies to repair the damaged body of human beings, and healthcare robots to assist healthcare workers in their work, and so on. There are two main types of medical robots in practice:
One is the wearable robot that can read human nerve signals, also known as the "intelligent exoskeleton";
The other is the robot that can undertake surgery or healthcare functions, typified by the da Vinci surgical system developed by IBM.
(II) Intelligent Drug Research and Development
Intelligent drug research and development refers to the application of deep learning technology in artificial intelligence to drug research, through big data analysis and other technological means to quickly and accurately mine and screen out suitable compounds or organisms, to achieve the purpose of shortening the cycle of new drug research and development, lowering the cost of new drug research and development, and improving the success rate of new drug research and development.
Artificial intelligence can predict drug activity, safety and side effects through computer simulation. With the help of deep learning, AI has made new breakthroughs in many fields, such as cardiovascular drugs, antitumor drugs, and therapeutic drugs for common infectious diseases. Intelligent drug development has also played an important role in the fight against the Ebola virus.
(C) Intelligent diagnosis and treatment
Intelligent diagnosis and treatment is the use of artificial intelligence technology to assist in diagnosis and treatment, so that the computer "learns" the medical knowledge of expert doctors, simulating the doctor's thinking and diagnostic reasoning, so as to give a reliable diagnosis and treatment program. Intelligent diagnosis and treatment is the most important and core application of AI in the medical field.
(IV) Intelligent Image Recognition
Intelligent medical imaging is the application of artificial intelligence technology to the diagnosis of medical images. Artificial intelligence in medical imaging application is mainly divided into two parts: one is image recognition, applied to the perception link, its main purpose is to analyze the image to obtain some meaningful information; the second is deep learning, applied to the learning and analysis link, through a large amount of image data and diagnostic data, constantly training neuron network deep learning, prompting its mastery of diagnostic capabilities.
(V) Intelligent Health Management
Intelligent health management is the application of artificial intelligence technology to specific scenarios of health management. At present, it mainly focuses on risk identification, virtual nurses, mental health, online consultation, health intervention, and health management based on precision medicine.
