1. Before installing SSD, take out everything that comes with SSD; More importantly, the solid state disk body, solid state disk mounting bracket, screws and data lines.
2. Because the SSD is to be installed on the desktop computer this time, it is necessary to use the bracket delivered together. First, compare the hole position of the SSD with the clip inside the bracket, otherwise the bracket and SSD hard disk will not be installed correctly.
3. After the SSD is aligned with the bracket, one side of the SSD can be put into the bracket first, and the clip on the bracket can be embedded in the hole on the upper side of the SSD.
4. Then, put the other side of the SSD into the bracket. When installing the other side, you need to Bai Wan the bracket before embedding the SSD. Pay attention to the front and back of the installation, as shown in the following two photos.
5. Then take out the data cable and insert it into the narrow connector on the SSD. When inserting, pay attention to the small gap on the data line to match the convex strip on the SSD, so as to insert it.
7. After the SSD is fixed on the chassis, insert the data cable and power cable. The power cord is the one indicated by arrow 2 in the figure below, and the other end of the data cord is plugged into the SATA interface on the motherboard, preferably the native sata3.0 interface.
8. Now, after booting, press DEL to enter BIOS, and select SATA mode as AHCI mode, as shown in the figure below.
9. Finally, when partitioning SSD, check the integer multiples of the following numbers and select 4096 sectors, which is commonly called 4K alignment. Now this SSD is installed on a desktop computer, and then the system installs the software.
1, solid-state hard disk, referred to as hard disk for short, is a hard disk made of solid-state electronic memory chip array, which consists of control unit and storage unit (FLASH chip and DRAM chip). Solid-state hard disk is exactly the same as ordinary hard disk in terms of interface, function and usage, and the product shape and size are also exactly the same as ordinary hard disk. Widely used in military, vehicle, industrial control, video monitoring, network monitoring, network terminals, electric power, medical care, aviation, navigation equipment and other fields.
2. The working temperature range of the chip is very wide, including commercial products (0~70℃) and industrial products (-40~85℃). Although the cost is high, it is gradually spreading to DIY market. Because solid-state hard disk technology is different from traditional hard disk technology, there are many emerging memory manufacturers. Manufacturers only need to buy NAND memory and cooperate with appropriate control chips to manufacture solid-state hard disks. SATA-2 interface, SATA-3 interface, SAS interface, MSATA interface, PCI-E interface, NGFF interface, CFast interface and SFF-8639 interface are widely used in the new generation of solid state drives.
