Three. Installation and wiring of small tablet press

1. The tablet press is installed on a solid wood workbench (or cement workbench) and fixed with three sets of M 12 anchor screws. The height of the workbench from the ground is about 600 mm (measured by hand, easy to operate).

In order to facilitate disassembly and maintenance, there should be a hole with a diameter of about 35 mm on the wooden workbench corresponding to the lower punch.

2. Before connecting the motor power supply, connect the motor to the ground wire to ensure safety.

Remove the V-belt, turn on the power supply of the motor, start the motor, and observe whether the rotation direction of the motor is correct (the rotation direction of the motor shaft should be the same as the direction of the arrow on the big pulley). If the rotation direction is wrong, wire it separately, and then install the V-belt.

Four, small tablet press mold instructions

1. Installation of stamping die:

(1) Mounting projection

Unscrew the fixing screw of the punch, turn the big pulley to raise the lower punch rod to the highest position, insert the lower punch into the hole of the lower punch rod (note that the notch slope of the lower punch rod is aligned with the fastening screw of the lower punch and inserted into the bottom), and finally tighten the fixing screw of the lower punch.

(2) Install the upper punch

Loosen the upper punch fastening nut, insert the upper punch into the hole of the upper punch mandrel and tighten the upper punch fastening nut.

(3) installing the intermediate mold

Loosen the fixing screw of the middle die, lay the middle die flat in the hole of the middle die pressing plate, punch it into the hole of the middle die at the same time, press it to the bottom, and then tighten the fixing screw of the middle die. When placing the middle die, pay attention to hold the middle die flat to avoid getting stuck and damaging the hole wall when placing it askew.

(4) Turn the big pulley by hand, so that the upper punch slowly descends into the hole of the middle die, and observe whether there is collision or friction. If there is collision or friction, loosen the fixing screws (two) of the middle die pressing plate, adjust the fixing position of the middle die pressing plate to make the upper punch enter the hole of the middle die, and then tighten the fixing screws of the middle die pressing plate until the upper punch enters the middle die without collision or friction, and the installation is qualified.

2. The adjustment of the film

Turn the big pulley to raise the lower punch to the highest position, and observe whether the surface of the lower punch is flush with the plane of the middle die (high or low will affect the ejection of the die). If not, loosen the butterfly screw, loosen the gear pressure plate, rotate the upper adjusting gear to make the lower punch face flush with the plane of the middle die, then press the pressure plate and tighten the butterfly screw.

At this time, turn the big pulley by hand and idle for more than ten times. If the machine is running normally, you can charge and test the pressure, and make the next adjustment.

3. Adjustment of filling depth (i.e. adjustment of tablet weight)

Loosen thumbscrews and loosen gear pressure plate. Turn the lower adjusting gear to the left, so that the lower punch rises, and the filling depth decreases (the weight of tablets decreases), otherwise the filling depth increases (the weight of tablets increases). After adjustment, press the gear pressure plate and tighten the wing screw.

4. Adjustment of pressure (i.e. adjustment of tablet hardness)

Loosen the knurled screw and adjust the copper sleeve of the eccentric downward, so that the pressure increases and the tablet hardness increases; On the contrary, upward adjustment will reduce the pressure and hardness of tablets. After adjustment, tighten the knurled screw and lock the copper sleeve of the eccentric.

At this point, the adjustment of the mold is basically completed, and then the motor is started to test more than ten pieces. If the quality such as weight, hardness and surface smoothness are qualified, it can be put into production. In the production process, it is still necessary to check the quality of tablets at any time and adjust them in time.

5. Dismantle the mold of small tablet press.

(1) Remove the upper punch.

Loosen the upper punch fastening nut to pull out the upper punch. If the fit is tight, you can clamp the upper punch with pliers and pull it out, but be careful not to damage the shuttle edge of the punch.

(2) Dismantling the intermediate mold

Loosen the fixing screw of the middle die. Unscrew the fixed screw of the punch, loosen the butterfly screw and loosen the gear pressure plate. Turn the adjusting gear to make the lower punch rise by about 10mm, and gently turn the big pulley to make the lower punch eject a part of the middle die and take it out by hand. If the middle die is closely matched with the hole, do not turn the handwheel forcibly to avoid damaging the parts. At this time, before taking out the middle die, it is necessary to remove the pressure plate of the middle die.

(3) removing the undershoot

Unscrew the fixing screw of the lower punch first, then turn the handwheel to raise the core rod of the lower punch to the highest position, and then pull out the upper punch rod by hand. If the fit is tight, you can clip it out with pliers (be careful not to damage the edge of the punch).

(4) After the stamping die is disassembled, it is necessary to rotate the adjusting gear to make the lower punch retreat by about 10 mm, and when the lower punch is raised to the highest position by rotating the handwheel, its top end is not higher than the bottom surface of the middle die platen (this step cannot be ignored to avoid an accident when the lower punch collides with the middle die again). Finally, tighten the lower punch fixing screw.

5. Spindle:

VI. Lubrication and Maintenance of Small Tablet Press

1. The lubrication of the friction surfaces of all moving parts is an important link to ensure the normal operation and prolong the service life of the machine. Especially in the case of oil shortage, if the main moving parts are damaged quickly, they cannot be used. Therefore, before using the tablet press, all oil cups, oil holes and friction surfaces must be lubricated, and the friction surfaces must be covered with oil film after idling before they can be put into use. In the future, refuel on time in each shift, but don't add too much each time, so as to avoid spilling, affecting the cleaning and polluting the tablets. 4. In the process of tabletting, the quality of stamping die should be checked frequently. If missing edges, cracks, serious deformation and damage are found, they should be replaced in time, so as not to damage the machine and affect the quality of tablets.

5. After daily use, the remaining powder particles should be taken out and all parts of the machine should be wiped. If the machine is shut down for a long time, the stamping die must be removed, all the friction surfaces and working surfaces of the machine must be wiped clean, coated with antirust oil and covered with dust-proof clothes; Stamping dies should be wiped and immersed in oil to protect the desktop publishing system.

6. Check the machine twice a month.

Seven, small tablet press use matters needing attention

1. Please read the instructions carefully before using the machine for the first time, and then use it.

2. This machine can only run in a certain direction (as indicated by the arrow on the handwheel or protective cover), and cannot be reversed to avoid damaging parts. Pay special attention to the adjustment of the tablet computer, and don't neglect it.

3. Belt tightness adjustment: it is adjusted by two adjusting nuts on the electromechanical bottom plate. Pay attention to locking after adjustment.

4. Before starting the electric tablet press, the upper punch should be in the rising position before starting. If it is started when the upper punch is in the lowered position, it will enter the middle punch plate immediately after it is started. At this time, because the machine speed has not yet gone up, the inertia is small and it is easy to bump. (That is, after the upper punch enters the middle die, due to the resistance of tablets, the machine stops running, and the machine is often damaged or the motor is burned due to excessive load during jacking).

5. Handling method after jacking the car

(1) In the process of electric tabletting, if there is a car jacking phenomenon, turn off the power immediately to avoid burning out the motor.

(2) When the jacking situation is light, you can manually pull the handwheel to make the upper punch pass through the "dead point" (but it cannot be reversed, so as to avoid repeated feeding by the feeder and more serious jacking).

(3) If serious jacking occurs, remove the small shaft of the upper punch to raise it to reduce the pressure, then turn the handwheel to eject the tablets, and then readjust the hardness of the tablets.

6. In the process of tabletting, the quality of tablets (tablet weight, hardness, surface smoothness, etc.). ) must be checked and adjusted in time.

7. The batching process before tabletting has a great influence on tabletting. Formulation and granulation (powder condition, particle compactness, powder proportion, water content, etc.) of medicinal materials and auxiliary materials such as lubricants, fillers and adhesives. ) directly affects the quality of tablets. And often due to improper granulation of ingredients, it is impossible to slice and even damage the machine. Therefore, this machine cannot be used for semi-solid or wet or granular fine powder tabletting. In use, if it is found that the pressure has been adjusted to a considerable extent, but it cannot be pressed into tablets, or it is too loose, layered, broken, pitted, pulverized, etc. after being pressed into tablets. Then we should find out the reason from the aspect of composition and solve it. Do not blindly adjust and increase the pressure to avoid damaging the machine. In addition, although the hardness of tablets extruded from some medicinal materials is not great, they have certain toughness and good impact resistance (usually they will not break when dropped from the height of 1- 1.2 meters). Therefore, in order to meet the requirements of operation and storage, we should not only pay attention to hardness, so as to avoid excessive tabletting pressure and damage to the machine.

Second, the effect is not good. The friction surface of general moving parts is short of oil, dirty, rusty and badly worn. Check all parts regularly to keep them clean and lubricated (see article 1 for lubrication and maintenance). If any defects are found, they must be repaired immediately to avoid making them worse and damaging the machine.

(2) Check and repair, and keep it clean and lubricated.

(3) Pay attention to the concentricity between the undershoot and the middle die during adjustment.

5. The feeder was damaged and collided with the lower punch (1). Improper adjustment of the plate, the lower punch is out of the plane of the middle die.

(2) When the repeated feed has not become an overlapping piece, you can slowly reverse the handwheel to jack up the tablets, brush off the repeated feed and pull out the tablets. If it is pressed into the overlapping part and jacked up, it will be handled according to the jacking situation (see the instruction number. 1).

8. Jumping chips and fragments are too jumping or broken when they are rushed out (1), and the ejection is not properly adjusted, and the chips are rushed down below the plane of the middle die, so that the chips are blocked or even crushed when they come out.
