Installation Specifications for Split Air Conditioners

Air conditioning installation specifications and precautions 1. Installation standards According to the national air conditioning installation standards issued by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision, air conditioning installation standards are specially formulated: 1. The air conditioner should be installed in a place that is not easily accessible to children. 2. Try to avoid places with harsh natural conditions (such as heavy oil smoke, strong wind and sand, direct sunlight or high temperature heat sources). 3. Try to shorten the connection distance between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. 4. Avoid places where artificial strong electricity and magnetic fields act directly, especially when it comes to consumer personal safety. The standard also puts forward strict quantitative requirements. 5. The load-bearing capacity of the outdoor unit mounting frame is at least 180 kg. 6. Outdoor units of air conditioners should not be installed in public places such as aisles, stairs, exits, etc. inside the building. 7. The outdoor unit of the air conditioner should not occupy the public sidewalk. The distance between the bottom of the installation frame of the air conditioner installed along the buildings on both sides of the road and the ground should be greater than 2.5 meters. 8. The outdoor unit of the air conditioner should be as far away from adjacent doors, windows and green plants as possible, and the distance from the other party's doors and windows should not be less than 3 meters. 2. Installation specifications 1. Check the home, power supply voltage, wire material and diameter, power fuse size and socket quality, voltage resistance and performance. 2. Check whether the specifications of the indoor and outdoor units are consistent, and whether the indoor and outdoor units and installation accessories are complete and effective. 3. Check whether the appearance of the indoor and outdoor units is damaged. 4. Turn on the power of the indoor unit, use the remote control to perform function conversion, and check whether the operation and noise of the machine and the remote control are normal. 5. The pipeline has a fixed point every 2 meters. If the connecting pipe needs to be self-assembled, the copper pipe should be selected according to the wall thickness specified by the manufacturer. 6. Pay attention to the level when installing indoor and outdoor units. The left and right height of the indoor unit should not exceed 3 cm. The outdoor unit should be as level as possible, and the maximum left and right height should not exceed 3 cm. If you need to purchase accessories by yourself, they must not be lower than the standards specified by the manufacturer. 7. There should be no less than 6 fixing screws for the indoor unit and no less than 4 fixing expansion bolts for the outdoor frame. The outdoor expansion bolts should be equipped with gaskets and spring pads. The specifications and quality should not be lower than those specified by the manufacturer. The number of outdoor unit anchor bolts shall not be less than 4. All bolts and nuts must be tightened. If the wall is loose, nails should be driven through or other corresponding measures should be used to fix it. And ensure that the indoor unit and outdoor unit are fixed for more than 20 years. 8. The power cord used must meet the quality standards and specifications specified by the manufacturer. It is never allowed to use no-brand, bad-quality, or inferior power cords and signal lines. If the power is below 1500W, use a 10A fuse switch. If the power is from 1500W to 2500W, use a 15A fuse switch. If the power is from 2500W to 3500W, use a 20A fuse switch. 3500W to 6000w use 30A fuse switch. 9. The exposed part of the outdoor unit pipe shall not be longer than 20 cm. During the process of piping arrangement, care should be taken to minimize the deformation of the copper pipe and avoid airflow noise. 10. After installation, conduct a drainage test on the indoor unit to ensure smooth drainage of the air conditioner. 11. The trial operation must last for more than 30 minutes to check the various operating conditions that can be operated, whether the parameters meet the regulations, and whether the various functions are perfect.
