Hazardous waste treatment qualification procedures: 1. Application. Fill out the "Hazardous Waste Business License Application Form", attach supporting materials and the preliminary review opinions of the municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, and submit a written application to the Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau; 2. Accept the application. The Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau will review the certification materials submitted by the applicant; 3. Evaluation. The Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau will evaluate the applicant as required within 20 working days from the date of acceptance of the application; 4. Approval and issuance of licenses. Article 7 of the "Measures for the Administration of Hazardous Waste Business Licenses" states that the state implements hierarchical approval and issuance of hazardous waste business licenses. The hazardous waste operation license of a centralized medical waste disposal unit shall be approved and issued by the environmental protection department of the people's government of the districted municipality where the centralized medical waste disposal facility is located. Hazardous waste collection and operation licenses shall be approved and issued by the environmental protection department of the people's government at the county level. Article 8 of the "Measures for the Administration of Hazardous Waste Business Licenses" Units applying for a hazardous waste business license shall submit an application to the licensing authority before engaging in hazardous waste business activities, and attach the provisions of Article 5 or Article 6 of these Measures Documentary evidence of conditions.
