In order to strengthen the supervision and management of radiation protection of radioisotopes and radiation devices, to protect the health and safety of personnel engaged in radiation work and the public, to protect the environment, and to promote the application and development of radioisotopes and ray technology, the "Regulations on Radiation Protection of Radioisotopes and Radiation Devices" were formulated.

Article 10 The higher administrative department of the unit engaged in radiation work shall be responsible for managing the radiation protection work of the system, and shall regularly inspect the implementation of the national regulations and standards on radiation protection in the system.
The person in charge of a unit engaged in radiological work shall take effective measures to bring the unit's radiological protection work into conformity with the relevant state regulations and standards.
Article 11 The production, use and storage places of radioisotopes and the production and use places of radiation devices must be equipped with protective facilities. Its entrance must be set up radioactive signs and the necessary protective safety interlocks, alarm devices or work signals.
Outdoor, field radiological work, must be set aside for safety protection area, and set up a danger sign, if necessary, set up a guard.
Radioisotope tests in surface water and groundwater must be approved in advance by the provincial environmental protection and health administrative departments.
Article XII radioisotopes shall not be placed together with flammable, explosive and corrosive substances, and their storage places shall take effective safety measures against fire, theft and leakage, and designate a person in charge of storage. When storing, receiving, using and returning radioactive isotopes, they must be registered and inspected, so that the accounts are consistent.
Article XIII engaged in radioisotope ordering, selling, transferring, transferring and borrowing units or individuals, must hold a license registration certificate and is limited to the scope of the license to engage in the above activities within the scope of registration, and to the same level of health, public security departments for the record. It is strictly prohibited to engage in the above activities without a license or outside the scope of registration of the license.
Article XIV of the import of radioisotopes equipped with instruments or individuals, must be registered with the local health, public security, environmental protection departments for the record; imports contain more than the radioactive exemption level of minerals, finished products, consumer goods, units or individuals, should be to the port of entry where the provincial health administrative department to apply for radiation monitoring and inspection.
Any unit or individual engaged in processing work containing radioactive materials, involving radioactive wastewater, exhaust gas, solid waste discharge, must be submitted in advance to the environmental protection department of the province, autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government of the Environmental Protection Department of the Environmental Impact Report form (book), after approval, to the county above the health administrative department for a license, and registration with the public security department.
