North Korea's buses are old, and Pyongyang's subway station is more than 100 meters deep underground

When visiting a country, I always like to pay attention to its transportation system. When I arrived at Pyongyang's Soonan International Airport, the facilities of this airport exceeded my expectations. It is said that this airport was put into use in the last some years, and it is built inside opulently, and there is a big gap between it and other buildings in North Korea, there is a big gap. The airport is equipped with a variety of service outlets such as commercial, catering, information, medical and other services.

The train station is the window to a city and is the first attraction that many tourists see when they arrive in the city. The Pyongyang Railway Station has an outdated look and the platforms are in a much poorer condition, and most of the cars parked on the platforms are green trains. On the platform, you can sometimes see people pushing carts and selling various kinds of food, which is a bit similar to China. Compared to Pyongyang's airport, Pyongyang's train station is much more modest.

I had the opportunity to ride the Pyongyang subway once, which is very deep, more than 100 meters deep in many places. It is said that the Pyongyang subway can also be used as a bomb shelter. The Pyongyang subway and other countries in the subway is also very different, the subway station can not see any commercial billboards, but can see a variety of huge propaganda posters. Almost every station, there is a newspaper reading board, passengers can also read the newspaper while waiting for the train.

I was also impressed by the buses in Pyongyang, which are divided into tracked and trackless ones. The fare is very cheap, reportedly only a few cents.

However, most of the buses in Pyongyang are very old, and the frequency of buses is not very high, waiting for a bus, often need to wait for more than half an hour, so in front of the bus stop sign, you can often see passengers in a long line.
