Xinzhou Senior Technical School, founded in 1978, is the only public technical school directly under the municipal government and headed by the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The school 1992 passed the evaluation and acceptance of the Provincial Labor Department and became a qualified technical school.
