Methods for the Management of Health Care in Kindergartens

Article 1 These measures are formulated to improve the level of health care work in nurseries and kindergartens, to prevent and reduce the occurrence of diseases, and to safeguard the physical and mental health of children.

Article 2 These measures apply to all levels and types of nurseries and kindergartens (hereinafter referred to as child care institutions) that enroll children aged 0 to 6 years.

Article 15 Child-care institutions shall carry out health care work in strict accordance with the "norms for health care work in nursery schools and kindergartens".

The health care work of child-care institutions includes the following:

(1) according to the different age characteristics of children, the establishment of a scientific and reasonable day-to-day living system, and to cultivate good hygiene habits;

(2) to provide children with a reasonable nutritional diet, scientifically formulated recipes, to ensure that the dietary balance;

(3) to formulate physical exercise programs that are compatible with the physiological characteristics of children. Article 16 Child-care institutions shall, under the guidance of disease prevention and control agencies, do a good job in the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

Child care institutions found children with infectious diseases should be promptly reported in accordance with the laws, regulations and the provisions of the Ministry of Health, under the guidance of disease prevention and control agencies, strict disinfection of the environment.

During the epidemic of infectious diseases, child care institutions should strengthen preventive and control measures.

Article XVII of the disease prevention and control institutions shall collect, analyze, investigate and verify the infectious disease epidemics in child care institutions, and find problems in a timely manner to notify the child care institutions, and to the administrative departments of health and education administration.

(a) failure to set up a health care room, sanitary room, or equipped with health care personnel;

(v) failing to carry out healthcare work in strict accordance with the "Norms for Healthcare Work in Nursery Schools and Kindergartens".

The health administrative department shall promptly inform the education administrative department of the results of the treatment, the education administrative department will be used as the basis for child care institutions graded and categorized management and quality assessment.

Article 20 of the child-care institutions without obtaining a "license to practice in medical institutions" without authorization to set up a health room for diagnostic and treatment activities, in accordance with the "Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions" of the relevant provisions of the penalties.
