● Radio waves can adversely affect electronic medical devices. Passengers with pacemakers should contact the manufacturer of the electronic medical device before use to ask if they will be affected.
● While driving, if the low tire pressure warning light is illuminated, avoid sudden swerving or emergency braking, reduce speed, and pull off the road as quickly as possible to a safe location and stop. Driving with low tire pressure can permanently damage the tires as well as increase the likelihood of tire failure. It could result in serious vehicle damage and accidents, as well as serious personal injury. Check the pressure in all four tires. Adjust the tire pressure to the recommended COLD tire pressure on the tire placard to extinguish the low tire pressure warning light. If this light remains illuminated when driving after tire pressure adjustment, there may be a tire leak. If a tire is leaking, replace it with a spare tire as soon as possible.
●When the spare tire is installed or the wheel is replaced, the TPMS will not operate and the low tire pressure warning light will flash for approximately 1 minute. The warning light will remain illuminated after 1 minute. Contact a DFL NISSAN franchise as soon as possible to replace the tire and/or reset the system.
●If tires other than those originally specified by NISSAN are replaced, the proper operation of the TPMS may be affected.
●Do not inject any tire fluid or tire aerosol sealant into the tires, as this may cause the tire pressure sensor to malfunction.
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) monitors the pressure of all tires except the spare. When the low tire pressure warning light illuminates, one or more of the vehicle's tires are significantly underinflated. If the vehicle is driven with low tire pressure, the TPMS will activate and alert the driver via the low tire pressure warning light on the instrument panel. This system will only activate when the vehicle is traveling at speeds greater than 25 km/h (16 MPH).
