SOP characteristics
SOP is a description of the process, not the result. At the same time, SOP is not a system, nor a form, but a key control point in how a program standardizes the process.
SOP is an operable program, which is real and concrete, not something at the conceptual level. If combined with the standard of ISO9000 system, SOP is a third-order document, that is, an operational document.
SOP is not a single system. Although we can define each SOP separately, from the perspective of enterprise management, SOP cannot be single, it must be a whole and a system, which is also indispensable for enterprises. Yu Shiwei also specifically mentioned in the lecture: a company should have two books, one is the red book, which is the company's strategy, that is, the business guiding program; Another book is blue book, SOP, standard operating procedures, which must be refined and quantified.
