Article 4

Quarantine personnel, means of transport, transportation equipment and luggage, goods, postal parcels and other articles that may spread quarantine infectious diseases, and shall not enter or leave the country without the approval of the frontier health and quarantine organ.

Article 6

Article 5

When the health and quarantine organ finds an infected person, it shall immediately isolate him to prevent anyone from being infected and deal with him according to the provisions of Chapter VIII of these Rules. When the health and quarantine organ discovers the suspect infected with the epidemic, it shall handle it in accordance with the provisions of Chapter VIII of these Detailed Rules. However, a suspect who is infected with a disease other than that specified in Chapter VIII may undergo on-site clinical check-up or detention for inspection within the longest incubation period of the infectious disease when the person leaves the infected environment.

Article 12

All units and individuals within the territory of People's Republic of China (PRC) must accept the investigation, inspection, sample collection and isolation treatment of infectious diseases by disease prevention and control institutions and medical institutions, and provide relevant information truthfully. Disease prevention and control institutions and medical institutions shall not disclose relevant information and materials involving personal privacy.
