How to install ultrasonic flow meter method

Ultrasonic flowmeter is a commonly used flow measurement instruments, it can be through the reflection and propagation of ultrasonic waves to measure the flow of liquid or gas. The following is the installation of ultrasonic flowmeter:

1. Select the appropriate installation location: ultrasonic flowmeter should be installed in a straight section of the pipeline, to avoid installation in elbows, branch pipelines or pumps, such as the inlet location. At the same time, should avoid installation in vibration or noise, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy.

2. Preparation of installation materials: ultrasonic flowmeter installation requires some materials, such as bolts, gaskets, flanges and so on. These materials should be selected according to the size and material of the pipe.

3. Installation of the flange: the flange will be installed on the pipeline, pay attention to the flange position should correspond to the position of the ultrasonic flowmeter. Installation should use the correct bolts and gaskets, and tightened in accordance with the specified torque force.

4. Installation of ultrasonic sensors: ultrasonic sensors installed in the flange, pay attention to the location of the sensor should correspond to the position of the flange. Installation should use the correct bolts and gaskets, and in accordance with the specified torque force for tightening.

5. Connect the cable: the ultrasonic sensor cable connected to the controller of the flowmeter. Pay attention to the cable connection should be correct, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy.

6. Debugging and calibration: After the installation is completed, debugging and calibration is required. First of all, you should check whether the connection between the sensor and the controller is normal, and then carry out zero calibration and flow calibration. After calibration is completed, actual flow measurement can be carried out.

In short, the installation of ultrasonic flowmeter need to pay attention to the installation location, select the appropriate installation materials, correctly connect the cable and debugging and calibration steps. Only correct installation and calibration can ensure the measurement accuracy and stability.
