Cancer Hospital of China Academy of Medical Sciences Shenzhen Hospital is a public hospital jointly built by Cancer Hospital of China Academy of Medical Sciences (National Cancer Center) and Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is the only cancer hospital in Shenzhen.
With high level of talents, complete disciplines, strong technical force and advanced instruments and equipment, the hospital is the training unit of Shenzhen Clinical Medical Center, and has introduced seven "three projects" teams including Academician He Jie's chest tumor innovation team. In 2022, the first proton therapy center in South China will be built, with a total of 2,000 beds.
