A Month as a Course Counselor

I quit my job at the end of February

I went home

I'd been thinking about quitting for a long time

I've been looking at other jobs

I've been thinking about switching careers for a long time

What's the next thing I'm going to do?

I also wrote an analysis of the jobs I could do

I thought about it for a few months

Finally, I thought that the online education industry was quite good

I could be a course consultant, and it was the easiest way to get into the industry

When I was at home before the New Year and at New Year's Eve

I started to look for a position as a course consultant online

I found a lot of jobs on boss.com, which is a good place to start.

I started looking online for a course consultant position

On boss direct, there were quite a few recruiters

who messaged me asking if I wanted to work as a course consultant for them

There was one person who sent me a lot of pictures

(later it was my supervisor, Alan, whose company is vipJr)

who sent me quite a lot of messages

I chatted with him

I decided to go to them for an interview.

I went back to Shanghai after Chinese New Year and interviewed with them first

I hadn't quit my job at that time

I went out for a few days at the beginning of March

I went home for a few days

During that time, I told my boss to quit my job

I didn't go to work at my old company when I came back to Shanghai from my home

I went straight to vipJr to get hired and trained

I was very happy to see that I was able to get the interview with them.

In just five days of training

I learned a lot

The trainers were very good

(they used to work as course consultants to TPS

and then switched to trainings)

They introduced us to the courses we were going to sell in various aspects

including but not limited to the qualification of the teaching, the teachers, and the teaching materials, roleplay

Some people acted as parents and others as course consultants

They went on stage to simulate the process of making a phone call

The training lasted five days

Every day I was given homework to do

I had to spend two to three hours finishing my homework

I got back to my accommodation at 6:00 or 7:00pm after the training

I then rested for a while

And then I had a dinner break

I had to go back to my home to have a good time.

After the training, there are written and oral exams

After you pass the written and oral exams, you can go to work for your team

If you don't pass the exam once, you will take it again

Teachers also hope that everyone passes the exams

Because of the shortage of people, we keep recruiting, and some people are constantly leaving

March 21st, I officially started to work for vipjr.

At the beginning, it was just a matter of making phone calls

and asking the parents to come over for a trial lesson

Most of the parents didn't want to talk to you

Some of them introduced themselves as soon as they opened their mouths

(XX Parents? I'm a course counselor of XX)

After hearing this, they just hang up the phone

Some say that you are a nuisance caller, and if you call again, I will report you

Some of them just swear and curse at you

The polite ones will listen to you for a few minutes, and then say that they don't need it

After refusing, the course counselor has to ask the parents why they don't need it

Ask parents the questions of their family members.

And make the parents want to talk to you

Don't turn them off

And then ask them a lot of information

And then give them some advice about their children's English

Introduce your own program

Make the parents feel that you are a professional

And you can help their children learn English well

And then make an appointment with the parents

And then make an appointment with the parents

And then make an appointment with the parents

And then make an appointment with the parents.

Then ask the parents to bring their children for a trial lesson

Developed to address any objections the parents may have

Such as the child can't understand the tutor's lesson

Too young to sit still, no time, no plan, financial pressure ......

There are a very small number of parents who are very polite

I don't want to talk to you, but I'll politely answer your questions

Explain why, and politely decline

I've also met some very nice parents

They'll take the initiative to talk about their children's learning

It's been a pleasure to meet one of them for a few days

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get a good deal on the phone, but I'm sure that I'll be able to get one of you to talk about your child's learning

I'm sure that you will be able to find one. Confirm call before the trial class

Confirm attendance, confirm equipment, and resolve objections

Find out if the parents are willing to enroll on the same day ......

OK, confirm parents' attendance

Bring the parents to the trial class

Enter the online classroom

The first call was made to confirm the appointment.

Learn about the features of the classroom, what to expect, and introduce the course

Interact with the children to get them to speak up

Let the parents stay with you during the class to see how the class is going

Problems can arise during the class

Bad internet, teacher disconnecting,

Children disconnecting, unwilling to speak up

The class will be held at the same time. ......

Solve the problem right away, or make another appointment

After the trial lesson, ask the children

if they want to continue to learn English like this

Coax the children

and then talk to the parents about enrollment, price, and discounts ... ...

I think that's the hardest part of the process

I've never been successful at it

You have to keep talking to the parents and convincing them to sign up and pay for the course

The whole thing goes like this

In practice, it's a very tricky process

When I get into a problem, my brain just goes blank

I don't know what to do, and I don't know what to do.

I had to ask my supervisor or other seniors afterward

Sometimes the seniors would give me guidance in the online classroom

So I was still unsuccessful

During the one-month work period

The first two weeks were spent getting used to the idea of learning to talk to the parents. I went to work in the morning and felt like a new day had begun

I was confident that I was going to do my best

By the end of the day I was not

I was sleepy, I was tired

I wanted to go home, I didn't want to do it

The last two weeks were very hard

I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning

I didn't want to go to work

I wanted to turn back on the road there for the first time

The first two weeks were just getting used to the idea that I would be able to get back to work, but I was not.

I had a lot of thoughts about turning back on the way there

I had to force myself to keep going to work

I had to make phone calls, I had to take parents to auditions

It was hard all day long

Every day when we went out to eat at lunch

my partner and I were encouraging each other

we took turns to talk to each other every day

because we both wanted to leave the job.

I was completely out of it at work

I was wondering when I was going to leave

And then my partner stopped coming

And I couldn't contain my desire to leave

I kept going for four or five days

And I told Alan I was not going to leave

I didn't want to be in this kind of sales job

I knew that before I went there

But at the time, it was not a good idea.

But at the time, I was so caught up in the money

I thought I could overcome all the obstacles

and become a TPS and make tens of thousands of dollars a month

But after a month of sticking with the job

I realized that I was getting more and more disenchanted

I didn't have any bills to open, I didn't have a good salesman, but I could work hard to make up for that

I didn't like talking and closing orders

I didn't know what to do either. I don't know what to do

Alan said that you can find joy in your work

You can grow to love it

It's a job you love

But I don't think I'll ever like this kind of work

I need to talk all the time

I've been struggling with this for a long time

But I'm still choosing to give it up

Especially the customs service

It's the most important part.

I'm not sure what to say when I meet a parent who goes too far

My predecessor said that you should be a teacher and educate the parent

so that the parent will pay attention to their child's education

When you meet a parent who is incorrigible, you should learn how to counterattack

If you dislike a parent, you should dislike the parent on a moral ground

You have to dislike the parent on a moral ground

You should dislike the parent who is too weak or too weak. p>

Standing on the moral high ground

I can't do that, and I really don't like it when people do that

Being in sales is really quite tiring

The course consultant goes to work at 10:00 in the morning

He says he goes to work at 8:00 at night, but he never goes to work at 8:00 at night

He goes to work at 10:00 in the evening

He gets off work at about 10:00 in the evening

He gets off work at about 10:00 in the evening

He gets off at about 7:00 in the evening.

Sometimes the group building takes up a day off

But if you do a good job, the return is also high

In the past, the beginning is more difficult for a period of time

Later on, there are customers, sales skills and experience

The number of orders went up, and the income is also high

Into the ranks of the TPS monthly income of 2W more

The excellent TPS monthly income of 4,5W

The best. TPS monthly income of 4,5W have

The company also has a lot of activities and incentives

As long as you do a good job, you can get a lot of

A lot of people like me to escape

I think it's great to be able to stick with it

I'm not in it? (? _|

Finally, I hope everyone finds a job they like

Duck rush!
