SolidWorks (SW) is a new generation of mechanical 3D design tools launched by Dassault that is suitable for electrical industry design. The Chinese version of SolidWorks adopts a new parallel and serial product development environment and enjoys 3D CAD models, and is widely used in designing parts, designing mechanical equipment, medical equipment, automobiles, aviation and other industries; SolidWorks can meet Users directly add various auxiliary plug-ins to the software, connect to various NC programming software and directly print models according to their usage needs. Regarding the power of solidworks, I actually believe that many friends have a certain understanding of it, but many friends may still be scratching their heads when it comes to mastering and using the software! It doesn't matter, if you want to learn to use solidworks, you've come to the right place. CREO Format Conversion Guide to SOLIDWORKS
1
Enable 3DInterconnect and set the template
●Tick Enable 3DInterconnect in the SOLIDWORKS system options, and set the template in the default template first.
2
System option settings
●Open the CREO file with SOLIDWORKS, sort from large to small, select the assembly; click Options; enter the system options , check the custom properties and material properties in the options, then check Ignore hidden entities, and then click OK; (as shown in the figure below).
3
Enter the SOLIDWORKS environment interface
●After opening the CREO drawing in SOLIDWORKS, you can click Save first to save the general assembly in SOLIDWORKS format, also You can see that there are green arrows in front of the design tree subassemblies and zero-level icons, which are links.
4
Disconnect the link relationship
●If you do not want to have a link relationship, right-click the lower-level subassembly of the general assembly and select Break If you open the link, select Perform the operation on all parts in the pop-up window, then click Yes to disconnect the link (cannot be undone), and the external references will be disconnected for all parts.
5
Save virtual components as external parts
●After disconnecting the parts and subassemblies that need to be disconnected, you will get For virtual components in square brackets, click Save at this time and a window will pop up. Select External Save to save the parts and sub-assemblies as external parts (you can specify the path for placement);
●Save When the virtual component is an external part, it prompts "more than one component is saved in the same location" and cannot be saved all. At this time, select the component prompted and save it inside the assembly instead. At this time, all can be saved;
6
Replace components
●Find the model whose virtual parts were not saved as external parts in the previous step, open the file, select Replace, and replace it with the model that has been saved as an external part. The same file can be repeated for other virtual parts that are not saved as external parts.
7
Change parts and assemblies from fixed to floating
●You can select the parts and sub-assemblies that need to be converted from fixed to floating, right-click and select floating , at this time the parts and sub-assemblies become floating. If the parts in the sub-assembly are still fixed, open the sub-assembly, and then change the parts inside to floating, one level at a time.
8
Delete the general assembly and rename the subassembly
●Delete the general assembly and rename the subassembly (because the following section of the general assembly The sub-assembly of the level is the same as the overall assembly), right-click and use the rename that comes with SOLIDWORKS.
