Regulations on Human Organ Transplantation

Article 11 Medical institutions engaged in human organ transplantation shall, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions, apply to the competent department of the people's government of the province, autonomous region and province-level municipality directly under the Central People's Government for the registration of diagnostic and therapeutic subjects for human organ transplantation.

Medical institutions engaged in human organ transplantation, shall have the following conditions:

(a) with the engagement of human organ transplantation of licensed physicians and other medical personnel;

(b) to meet the human organ transplantation of the equipment and facilities required;

(c) a human organ transplantation technology, clinical application and ethics committee, the committee of experts in medicine, jurisprudence and ethics. Application and Ethics Committee, the committee engaged in human organ transplantation of medical experts not more than 1/4 of the number of members;

(d) have a sound quality control of human organ transplantation and other management systems.
