College of Optoelectronic Engineering was founded in 1955, Xi'an Polytechnic University is one of the first enrollment of the school . At present, the college consists of the Department of Optical Information Science and Technology, the Department of Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation, the Key Laboratory of Thin Film Technology and Optical Detection of Shaanxi Province, the Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Testing and Instrumentation Technology of Shaanxi Province, the Research Institute of Optoelectronic Testing Technology, the Research Institute of Optoelectronic Information Technology, the Research Institute of Optoelectronic Microsystems, the Experimental Center of Optoelectronics College and other institutions. There are "measurement and control technology and instrumentation", "optical information science and technology", "photoelectric information engineering" and "electronic science and technology". After 50 years of development, the College of Optoelectronic Engineering has made remarkable achievements in the construction of specialties, disciplines, and the construction of faculty and staff, etc. In 1998, the discipline of Optical Engineering was recognized as one of the key disciplines in Shaanxi Province, and the establishment of "Thin-Film and Optical Inspection Laboratory" was approved by the Shaanxi Provincial Government in 1999. In 2004, the National Defense Industry Technology Committee of Shaanxi Province and the National Optoelectronics Achievement Transformation and Industrialization Base of the Ministry of Science and Technology approved the establishment of the "Dual-use Technology Engineering Center of Thin-Film Technology and Micro-Optical Devices" and the "National Optoelectronics Achievement Transformation and Industrialization Base of Optical Thin-Film and Devices". Liu Weiguo: Male, Han nationality, born in 1964, Lu'an, Anhui Province. He graduated from Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology (XUET) in 1985, majoring in infrared technology, received his master's degree in electronic physics and devices from XUET in January 1988, and received his doctoral degree in electronic materials and components from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) in 1995, and has visited Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, for research and lecturing from 1999 to 2000 and 2001 to 2003, respectively. From 1999 to 2000 and from 2001 to 2003, he visited Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for research and lecturing. Dr. Liu is the executive director of China Vacuum Society, vice president of Shaanxi Vacuum Society, vice president of Shaanxi Optical Society, etc. He is a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contribution to Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government in 2003, and a candidate of the second level of the Three Fifths Talent Project. Prof. Liu Weiguo has long been engaged in the research of optical thin film, electronic materials and components, optoelectronic materials and devices. He has been awarded the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress, and six provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress awards. He has edited and published 2 academic monographs, obtained 4 invention patents, presided over the completion of 973, national defense basic scientific research, and published more than 80 academic papers, of which more than 30 were included in SCI and EI.
Ni Jinping: male, Han nationality, born in 1965, Qianxian, Shaanxi. He graduated from Xi'an Institute of Technology in July 1985, majoring in industrial electrical automation, and received his master's degree in 1993 from Beijing Institute of Technology, majoring in automatic control theory and application, and his doctorate degree in April 2002 from Northwestern Polytechnical University, majoring in weapon system and application engineering. He is currently the dean of the School of Optoelectronic Engineering. Prof. Ni Jinping has been engaged in the scientific research and teaching of optoelectronic measurement and control technology and signal processing technology for a long time, and his technical fields of research include: test and measurement technology, electronic circuit design, microcomputer control, microcontroller application, automatic control technology, blind signal processing, image processing technology and so on. Prof. Ni Jinping has made a number of research achievements in his scientific research work, and has been awarded 2 second prizes and 5 third prizes at provincial and ministerial levels, and 6 invention patents. He has undertaken 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China project as the person in charge, and has completed 1 National Defense Key Laboratory Fund project, 1 Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province project, and has completed more than 60 horizontal entrusted projects, with a cumulative total of more than 10 million RMB. College of Materials and Chemical Engineering was founded in 1983. It now has five undergraduate majors: metal materials engineering, polymer materials and engineering, environmental engineering, materials physics, materials chemistry; one master's degree in materials science and engineering, three master's degrees in materials processing engineering, materials physics and chemistry, and materials science; and six research institutes and an experimental center.
