The difference between baking paint, spray paint and plastic spraying

Baking, painting, and plastic spraying are three methods of surface treatment that each have their own advantages and disadvantages. This article will delve into the differences between baking, painting and plastic spraying to help readers better understand these three methods.

The difference between baking paint and spray paint

The difference between baking paint and spray paint is that baking paint has a very thick layer of primer, in fact, the surface layer of the real baking paint, if you crack it hard, it will be like enamel like cracking, rather than peeling off like a normal layer of paint; and spray paint has a thinner thickness of the paint film, which is suitable for some precision products.

The advantages of spray painting

The advantages of spray painting are, wear resistance, corrosion resistance is better, the paint film is thicker, suitable for cabinets, equipment type of thicker products, lower cost, plastic powder can be recycled.

Baking paint process

Baking paint process is very complex, need to be coated with putty on the board, as a base layer of spray paint; putty leveling to be putty dry, polished and sanded smooth; and then repeatedly sprayed 3-5 times the primer, each time after the spraying, have to be polished with water sandpaper and abrasive cloth; and finally, and then spray 1-3 times the glossy topcoat, and then baked at high temperatures, so that the paint layer is cured.

Advantages of baking paint

Baking paint is relatively better than spraying paint, and its leveling, adhesion, and recyclability of paint powder are better than spraying paint.
