Corresponding standards: EN 1.4404, UNS S31603, ASTM 316L
S31603 material description
AISI 316L is a molybdenum-alloyed austenitic chromium-nickel steel with improved workability. This grade is used in a wide range of industrial applications where ASTM 304 / 304L type steels have inadequate corrosion resistance. Round bars are supplied in solution annealed and stripped turned condition.
