From 20211,the technical requirements that all products must meet and the conformity assessment process and standards that can be used to prove conformity will be basically the same as the current ones. In order to allow enterprises time to adapt to the new requirements, before 2022 1, most products (except those with special provisions) can still use the CE mark.
Size of UKCA mark
The UKCA label consists of the letters "UKCA" in the grid, where "UK" is above "CA". The UKCA label is as follows:
The height of the UKCA logo must be at least 5 mm (unless other dimensions are specified), and it cannot be deformed or used in different proportions.
UKCA labels must be clearly visible, clear and persistent. This will affect the applicability of different label specifications and materials-for example, products that are exposed to high temperatures and need UKCA labels will need durable heat-resistant labels to ensure compliance with regulations.
When does CE label need to be changed to UKCA label?
If you have put the goods into the UK market (or EU countries/regions) before 202 1 1, then you don't need to do anything.
Encourage enterprises to prepare for the implementation of the new British system as soon as possible after 202 1 1. However, in order to allow enterprises time to make adjustments, the reserved goods marked with CE (goods that meet the requirements of the UK) can continue to be put on the GB market until June 65438+ 10/,and the requirements of the EU and the UK remain unchanged.

Can UKCA certification and CE certification be together?
It can be marked with CE and UKCA at the same time, as long as they fully comply with the regulations of the UK and EU. Therefore, the affected enterprises can consider using both the UKCA logo and the CE logo to sell the same products/models in the EU and UK markets.
When do I have to apply for UKCA certification?
The British government is encouraging enterprises to implement the new British system as soon as possible after 202 1, 1. If all the following conditions are met, you must stand up from 202 1, 1 and mark UKCA on the product:
-protected by the law requiring UKCA marking (see above)
-It requires mandatory third-party conformity assessment.
-The conformity assessment of products is carried out by a conformity assessment organization headquartered in the UK, and the conformity assessment documents have not been transferred from the UK to the EU- organization before 202 1 1.
This is the case if your product has passed the CE certification of a designated organization in the UK. The reason is that after 202 1 1 1, the certificate obtained from the British institution will no longer be valid, because the notified institution in the UK will no longer be recognized by the EU.
It should be noted that, since the UK has completed its withdrawal from the EU, the requirements of future UK product standards and energy efficiency standards may be different from those of EU regulations. Therefore, China's export enterprises should keep up with the changes of relevant British regulations and standards and make preparations as soon as possible.
