The Historical Evolution of Yangjiang People's Hospital
Yangjiang People's Hospital has experienced 1 10 years of ups and downs. Her predecessor can be traced back to the 29th year of Guangxu (A.D. 1903). Yangjiang Huamin Ji Bo Hospital, run by American missionaries, was renamed Fumin Hospital on 1945. After the founding of New China, the people's government reorganized the health resources in Yangjiang, and in 195 1, the private hospitals at that time, namely Shunian Hospital, Fumin Hospital and Yangjiang Health Center, were merged, and Yangjiang County People's Hospital was built on the original site of Fumin Hospital. 1988, Yangjiang County was upgraded to the Municipal People's Hospital.
