James (Jim) Heppelmann is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PTC, where he is responsible for driving PTC's global business strategy and operations. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Heppelmann served as PTC's President and Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for managing the company's multiple business units, including research and development, marketing, sales, service and maintenance. He is also a member of PTC's Board of Directors.

Professional Experience

Mr. Heppelmann previously served as PTC's Executive Vice President of Software Products and Chief Product Officer, where he was responsible for determining overall product direction, including coordinating the vision and strategy for PTC's products, product design and development, and product marketing and management.

Mr. Heppelmann entered the information technology industry in 1985 with extensive experience developing and deploying large-scale product development systems in the manufacturing industry, and prior to joining PTC, Mr. Heppelmann was one of the founders and Chief Technology Officer of Windchill Technology, Inc. Headquartered in Minnesota, Windchill Technology was acquired by PTC in 1998. Prior to founding Windchill Technology, Mr. Heppelmann served as CTO of Metaphase Technology, Inc. Mr. Heppelmann spent seven years at Control Data Corporation (now Syntegra) until it founded Metaphase in 1992.

Mr. Heppelmann travels to customers around the world and is a frequent speaker at product development and manufacturing industry forums on topics such as the Internet of Things (IoT), PLM, and gaining a competitive advantage by improving the product development process. He has also been published and interviewed in a variety of trade media, including the Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg TV.

Mr. Heppelmann is a member of the national FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Executive Advisory Board and is a member of the Dean's Advisory Board for the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota.

Education

Mr. Heppelmann graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Computer Aided Design). Jeffrey Glidden is Executive Vice President and CFO of PTC. In his current role, Mr. Glidden is responsible for PTC's global accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, investor relations and information technology efforts.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining PTC, Mr. Glidden served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Airvana Incorporated from 2005 to 2010. Prior to Airvana, Mr. Glidden was employed by RSA Security Inc., an electronic security company specializing in the development of user authentication systems and encryption technologies, where he served from July 2002 to December 2005 as Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining RSA Security, Mr. Glidden served as Chief Financial Officer from April 1997 to July 2002 at Stream International, Inc. which provided outsourced customer care services.

Education

Mr. Glidden received a B.S. in Industrial Economics from Union College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Dr. Barry F. Cohen is Executive Vice President, Strategy at PTC. In his current role, Dr. Cohen is responsible for PTC's Corporate Development, Packaging and Pricing, Acquisition Strategy, Market Strategy, and Cross-Functional Strategy Councils. Dr. Cohen is also responsible for leading PTC's Customer Support, Global Education, Service Partners, and Human Resources organizations.

Career Experience

Dr. Cohen joined PTC in January 1998 when PTC acquired Computervision. Prior to the acquisition, he spent four years at Computervision as Senior Vice President, Human Resource Development and Organizational Productivity, and prior to Computervision, Dr. Cohen was President of Possibilities Inc. a management consulting firm specializing in organizational change and management training, where he worked for 13 years.

Dr. Cohen has authored or co-authored several books on leadership and organizational change, including The Wellness Sourcebook, Ethical Leadership, Myths and Realities of Leadership, and The Possibility Economy: The New Capital Development. He has also published numerous professional articles and a series of training manuals.

Dr. Cohen holds a Ph.D. in logic and philosophy from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Robert "Bob" Ranaldi is Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Distribution for PTC. He is responsible for driving PTC's global direct and indirect sales channel strategy, improving the operational effectiveness of the sales organization, and accelerating market growth.

Professional Experience

Joining PTC in 1998 as a sales representative, Mr. Ranaldi has held a variety of sales leadership positions both domestically and internationally, and has been instrumental in the growth of the company, most recently as Vice President of PTC's North American Commercial Business Unit. Mr. Ranaldi was most recently Vice President of PTC's North American Commercial Business Unit, having previously served as Regional Manager for Northern Europe and Vice President of PTC's North American SMB Enterprise Business Unit.

Prior to joining PTC, Mr. Ranaldi worked as a sales representative for Boston Scientific Corporation.

Education

Mr. Ranaldi received a Bachelor of Science degree from Westfield State University. Anthony (Tony) DiBona is the Executive Vice President of Global Support at PTC. He has been with PTC since 1998, where he served as Vice President, Global Business Partner Group and Vice President, Key Account Sales.

Professional Experience

Mr. DiBona joined PTC from Data General Corporation, where he managed the U.S. sales organization. He joined Data General Corporation in 1989 after 11 years with Unisys Corporation.

Mr. DiBona holds an MBA from Bentley University, where he also received an undergraduate Bachelor of Science and Business Administration. Rob Gremley is the Executive Vice President of PTC's Internet of Things (IoT) and Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) division. In this role, Mr. Gremley has full responsibility for all aspects of PTC's IOT and SLM business, including strategy, financial management, organizational leadership, and the development and implementation of best business practices to help manufacturers build, operate, and service smart, connected products in this transformative IoT era.

Professional ExperienceMr. Gremley most recently served as Executive Vice President of Product Development and Corporate Marketing at PTC. In this role, he was responsible for leading and overseeing PTC's research and development organization, as well as executing PTC's global brand strategy, marketing campaigns, and worldwide marketing operations. Prior to his global marketing role, Mr. Gremley was Senior Vice President of Sales Programs for MCAD, where he was responsible for developing and implementing a sales plan to specifically drive Pro/ENGINEER sales to the mid-market. In addition, Mr. Gremley served as Vice President of Global Services, where he was responsible for PTC's global services line of business, including consulting and education services.

Mr. Gremley received his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1988 and 1986, respectively. Brian Shepherd is the Executive Vice President of Extended PLM Segment at PTC. In this role, Mr. Shepherd is responsible for cross-functional leadership and financial management of PTC's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) market segments, as well as driving PTC's systems engineering strategy.

Mr. Shepherd previously served as Executive Vice President of Product Development at PTC. In this role, he was responsible for product management, design, development, testing, and delivery of PTC Windchill? product lifecycle management software and PTC Creo? design and visualization products. Since joining PTC in 1996, Mr. Shepherd has held product management positions for the Analog and MCAD product portfolios. Prior to joining PTC, Mr. Shepherd spent ten years at Nortel Networks as a researcher and product integration manager.

Mr. Shepherd is a frequent speaker at industry events around the world such as National Manufacturing Week, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Research, Development and Design Expo, the Product Development Summit, the Innovation Leadership Summit, and the Global OEM Automotive Conference. He has addressed thousands of product development professionals around the world on the importance and future of product development and product lifecycle management.

Education

Mr. Shepherd graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He also participated in a post-baccalaureate fellowship in management science at North Carolina State University.Mr. Shepherd is a registered professional engineer. Matt Cohen is the Executive Vice President for Global Services and Partners at PTC. In this role, he is responsible for PTC's consulting, training (PTC University) and managed services businesses. He is also responsible for global services partnerships, alliances and PTC's global academic programs.

Career Experience

Since joining PTC in 2001, Mr. Cohen has held a range of leadership positions in the sales and services organizations. Within PTC's Global Services organization, Mr. Cohen has helped develop sales, product and training strategies. Most recently, he led the company's global consulting and training line of business and oversaw the global professional services delivery team responsible for ensuring that customers receive value from PTC's solutions. Mr. Cohen also built and oversaw the company's fast-growing PTC University business.

Mr. Cohen graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Michael (Mike) Campbell is Executive Vice President of PTC's CAD business unit. In his role, Mr. Campbell leads PTC's CAD marketing business and manages its financials, including market analysis, solution definition, solution marketing, and strategic business and customer development activities.

Professional Experience

Mr. Campbell most recently served as Division General Manager of PTC's CAD business unit. He was previously Divisional Vice President for PTC's Creo design and visualization family of products, where he was responsible for overseeing R&D and product management activities, including product strategy, requirements definition, software product delivery and quality.

Since joining PTC in 1995, Mr. Campbell has held a variety of positions in development, product planning, and technical marketing. His previous responsibilities included leading the development and product management activities for the PTC Arbortext family of products, as well as the product management activities for PTC's desktop products, including the creation, enhancement, competitiveness and quality of Pro/ENGINEER, CoCreate and PTC Mathcad. He has been involved in multiple aspects of specification planning, design and development efforts related to improving Pro/ENGINEER, as well as assessing the business needs of discrete manufacturers. Prior to joining PTC, Mr. Campbell worked at GTech building and redesigning prototype units.

Mr. Campbell speaks at various product development and manufacturing industry events on topics such as creative product design, mechanical design, and CAD/CAM software development.

Mr. Campbell attended Boston University where he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Jane Wachutka is the Executive Vice President of Product Development at PTC. In this role, she is responsible for leading more than 2,000 research and development team members across the company's core product families, including PTC Creo, PTC Windchill, PTC Arbortext, PTC Mathcad, PTC Integrity, and PTC Servigistics. In addition, Jane co-leads the CTO's PTC Office.

Jane has been with PTC since 1998, when she was part of the acquired Windchill. Through natural progression and additional acquisitions, the PTC Windchill R&D team has grown from five to 1,500 global software engineers who are responsible for designing and producing the software products that make up PTC's enterprise product portfolio Jane cites her contribution to PTC's attainment of leadership in the enterprise software space as the highlight of her software development career. Aaron von Staats is Corporate Vice President, General Counsel at PTC, and in his current role, Mr. Staats is responsible for global legal matters, including corporate control, safety compliance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, technology licensing, litigation, employment, real estate and corporate maintenance.

Professional Experience

Since joining PTC in 1997, Mr. Staats has served in a variety of legal roles, including Vice President of North American Legal Affairs, Corporate Counsel for North America, and Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining PTC, Mr. Staats spent five years as a partner at the law firm of Palmer & Dodge LLP in Boston. He began his legal career as a law clerk to Mr. Paul J. Liacos, Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

Mr. Staats is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the New England Association of Corporate Counsel, the Boston Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association, respectively. He also serves on the Board of Directors of City Year, a non-profit organization.
