1.History
School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Gengdan College of Beijing Institute of Technology (Gengdan College) was founded by the Department of Intelligent Engineering and the Department of Architectural Environment of Gengdan College of Beijing Institute of Technology (Gengdan College), and was reorganized into School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and School of Information Engineering in July 2022 due to the need of discipline construction.
2. College Specialties
College of Electromechanical Engineering consists of five majors, including Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation, Industrial Design, Engineering Management, Architecture, and Urban and Rural Planning, of which Engineering Management and Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation are the first-class undergraduate construction majors in Beijing.
3. Hardware Facilities
(1) The college has independent learning and experimental training spaces such as the Engineering Training Center, Guangzhi Construction Workshop, and Architecture Research Institute.
(2) Equipped with engineering measurement laboratory, engineering costing software training room, mechanical principle laboratory, mechanical design laboratory, sensor technology laboratory, electrical and electronic laboratory, material mechanics laboratory, hydraulic and pneumatic transmission laboratory, engineering materials laboratory and other experimental space .
